Yep – I’m Greg Shugar. If you’re on this lame website, then it’s likely because you know of me as a co-Founder of The Tie Bar. Or because you just Googled my name – which kind of freaks me out.

Anyway, before reading any further, please excuse this pathetic looking website as I begin to launch my new consulting business. Yes – I recognize the irony that I am here to help you improve your small business and its website. So resist the urge to point that out.

So many of you know my story. My wife and I started The Tie Bar back in 2004 from our basement. Blah, blah, blah. Actually, the “blah, blah, blah” part of our story is the critical part. And it’s the part where I learned so much about launching a new retail brand, building a business and disrupting an industry.

Fancy business people call it “implementation” or “execution” of your business or business idea. I call it “getting your ass in gear.” Whichever it is, I think I can help. And if I can’t, I’ll let you know up front.
